Chelsey Resch

Cosmetologist & Wedding hair stylist

Q&A
What go me into the beauty industry?
A horrible experience at a mall salon was a game changer for me! It made me want to give people the hair or their dreams, not their nightmares!
My favorite thing about being a part of someone's wedding day is-
My favorite part would probably be how often the word "love" get's thrown around. "I love my fiance, I love my hair, I love you, and I love my mimosa" lol
If I wasn't a Hair stylist, what would I be?
Probably a Tattoo artist because, well, duh! lol
The one thing i don't think I could live without is-
COFFEE!!!!!!!
You may not guess-
That I have quite the amount of fur/reptile/amphibious children
When I'm not glamming beauty's all day you can find me-
Netflix and chilling because your girl needs to sit down.
The thing that means the most to me is-
Honestly, when a client tells me that they haven't felt "this pretty in a long time" with tears in their eyes. It gets me all in my feels knowing I helped them achieve that confidence.
My favorite eats-
Macaron's, Krispy Kreme donuts, pizza from Pizza Knig and Indian food.
If I was stranded on an island and could only bring 3 things with me they would be-
Reese's cups, my phone and sunscreen because I'm not getting those wrinkles.
Bio

Chelsey, born and raised in upstate NY is a former graduate of Shenendehowa high school. During her time there she attended BOCES for Cosmetology where she earned her license and immediately fell in love with hairstyling. After high school she knew she wanted to further her education so she attended, and graduated from Paul Mitchell the School in Schenectady, NY.

After school had come to an end Chelsey landed an assistant job with a precious Redken platform artist, which then eventually led her to becoming a full time stylist. After 4 wonderful years of learning the in and out's from other stylist and salon's on what products to use, she decided to take the best of the best and began to mix her own products and colors to give all of her clients a unique and one of a kind look.

Chelsey has been in the industry for over 8 years and in this time has become a Pravana master stylist who specializes in blonding, balayage and corrective coloring. Out of all the trends and styling she has learned her favorite is Vivids. She continues her education through training and classes throughout the capital region, Boston, NYC, and even Vegas.

One of Chelsey's favorite things to do is look at a picture completely unrelated to hair (flowers, exotic animals. landscapes ect.) and to pull inspiration from them where she then turns her clients hair into a work or art.

Whether it's your first time or hundreth time in her chair, you can always find her helping each of her client's on how to style their hair along with giving the best product recommendations to keep her client's hair in the best condition.

Something to know about me-
I would say that my hais is my passion but I think that's slightly incorrect. People are my passion. Making connection's, building confidence, making people laugh/smile is what I love the most about my profession. Everyone in my chair is a friend in a safe place.
