Victoria Wasiak is a licensed cosmetologist and 2x certified lash artist who was born and raised in Schenectady, NY. After graduating from Mohonasen High School she went to Architecture School at Roger Williams University in RI. Having felt out of place in that major, she switched to Psychology. Even then, she never felt at home and decided at this time it would be best for her to leave school to focus on work.
Upon leaving school Victoria began getting her lashes done and soon after fell in love with the process and how it made her feel like a whole new person after every appointment. Knowing this was something that brought so much joy to her, she knew in that moment that this was her true passion. Shortly after doing some research she attended Paul Mitchell the School in Schenectady. During school, she got certified in classic lashes through a Borboleta run program and absolutely fell in love with lashing and watching the transformation happen right before her eyes. After graduating, she saved up enough money to take another course with Borboleta involving Classic and Volume lashes. This helped her expand her knowledge and technique to bring her clients more versatility in all that lashes have to offer.
Victoria has been lashing for almost 2 years and she finally found her nitch and a home at The Make-Up Lounge.
What got me into the beauty industry?
I started out going to university and trying out two other majors but never felt at home. After having gotten my lashes done for 4-5 years, I fell in love with the process and watching videos of people doing lashes so I decided I wanted to pursue that myself
